In many classes there is competitive racing at the front with legendary drivers and vehicles. There are also many people out to have a good time with a more laid back approach. The events in Legends of Motorsports, SVRA or HSR sometimes host over 400 cars at the most prestigious racetracks in beautiful resort country such as Elkhart Lake, WI and Watkins Glen, NY. The Sports2000 class has seen a resurgence in vintage racing in recent years. Large fields, made up of a variety of chassis, form something similar to a master’s pro series. These cars are great looking closed-wheel prototypes manufactured from 1977 to the present. They are light-weight but not over-powered or over-tired, leading to highly competitive racing with many drivers running close to the limit. S2’s are some of the most affordable in vintage racing, and the best thing is their incredibly reliable engine and drive train. Any other aluminum monocoque sports car will have an expensive motor and require more maintenance. We offer different levels of support and have a trailer going to many of these events with a complete “arrive and drive” program available. Another option is having us rebuild certain components for your vehicle or do a full chassis alignment.
